The Narconon Program is comprised of a drug free withdrawal, a detoxifying sauna program known as the New Life Detoxification Program, and a series of 8 life improvement courses.

Once the student has successfully gone through the Narconon Drug Free Withdrawal process, and completed their first life improvement course where they learned to be comfortable in present time and communicate with others, they move on to the Narconon Drug Rehabilitation New Life Detoxification Program.

Many programs refer to the withdrawal process as detox, but the Narconon Drug Treatment Program knows that drug residuals are stored in the fatty tissues, and will continue to affect a person many years after stopping the use of drugs and alcohol.  These toxic residuals prevent one from truly thinking clearly, and are often the reason many experience drug cravings, and continue to suffer relapse.

The Narconon Vista Bay New Life Detoxification Program is comprised of vitamins, nutrition, exercise, and the use of a sauna to dislodge drug residues and other toxic chemicals from the fatty tissues.  These substances are then excreted from the body through sweating.  While undergoing the sauna portion of the program, the student is closely monitored by a trained Registered Addiction Specialist, The Case Supervisor, and our on-site nurse.  The New Life Detoxification Program Supervisor ensures that the program is run correctly and that the desired outcome is achieved. Students are required to monitor themselves as well.   A daily journal is kept, recording all events and changes that the student experiences while in the sauna.

Upon completion of the New Life Detoxification Program, students report feeling much more alive, thinking more clearly and quickly.  Students also report feeling an increase in their energy level, an increased sense of well-being, and a greater enthusiasm towards life.
